Tinkerers Club

  • Ages 7 - 11
  • Mondays 3:30-4:45pm
  • August 27th - October 15th // No Class September 3rd
  • $182 + $18 materials fee

Join other artists this spring to Tinker with a variety of materials in an open-ended format during Tinkerers Club! This creative-process based class will be the perfect fit for the artist who enjoys independence and implementing their own ideas within the supportive environment of the studio. Working with clay, paint, print-making, and more, students will be encouraged to use the materials in their own way after a brief mini-lesson--fostering plenty of creativity, choice, and expression.

Acrylic Painting

  • Ages 9 - 13
  • Mondays 5:00 - 6:15pm
  • August 20th - October 15th // No class September 3rd
  • $210 + $18 materials fee

Build a foundation in painting with acrylics on canvas during this fun 8-week class. Working on both 16"x20" and 12"x16" canvases, students will learn techniques such as color mixing, brush strokes, and how to set up their own compositions. We will be creating a variety of paintings during this course which culminates in an independent study painting of each student's choice.

Foundations in Realistic Drawing

  • Ages 9 - 13
  • Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:15pm
  • August 22nd - October 17th
  • $235 + $18 materials fee

Join us as we explore the exciting world of learning to draw realistically! Using media such as pen and ink, pencil, charcoal, and chalk pastels, students will learn techniques, tips and tricks for realistically rendering the world around them. Building upon various art works, this class will culminate in an independent project of each student's choosing.

Cancellation Policy: 

  • A minimum of 4 students must be enrolled in order for class to be held. We will notify you if your class might not run due to low enrollment.
  • Payment is due in full at time of registration. The Materials Fee is a non-refundable deposit. In the event of a cancellation, tuition will be refunded up to 10 days prior to the start of class. Within 10 days of the class start date, class tuition is non-refundable.
