Ages 10 - 14 // 9am - 12pm
Japanese animation (anime) and comics (manga, meaning “whimsical drawings” or “impromptu sketches”) have a rich history in earlier Japanese art. Studying some of the first famous anime and manga artists, children will delve into the styles and traits found in the art form and learn how to draw figures and images. The week culminates in students creating their own story, drawn and told in the traditional manga style. Older children will thoroughly enjoy this week of drawing and creativity at Tinker!
