Parties and events for creative expression & connection

We host creative, hands-on birthday parties and private events for kids and adults in our vibrant South Boulder studio, as well as pottery parties and events at Clay Hub. Each party includes a guided art project led by a Tinker instructor, with time built in for celebration and socializing. Whether it's a birthday, team-building session, or special gathering, we make it easy to celebrate through art.

For kids age 2-12

Celebrate with art, fun, and connection! Tinker offers unique birthday party experiences led by our talented instructors—complete with engaging projects, a giant cardboard cake to paint, and time in your own party space. New this year: Pottery Parties at Clay Hub for ages 8+! Kids can get their hands in clay and create one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces in our beautiful new ceramics studio.

 

    • We host birthday parties at Tinker for ages 3 - 12

    • We host Pottery Parties at Clay Hub for ages 8 - 16 (ages 17 - adults can book a Pottery Private Event)

    • Pottery Parties at Clay Hub have a limit of 14 total participants

    • 5-12 year old parties (at Tinker) have a limit of 20 total children

    • 3 & 4 year old parties have a limit of 14 total children + a grown up attends with each child

    • Please plan to bring presents home rather than opening them at the studio so our focus can stay on art-making

  • Guests will be greeted with a magnetic search & find sensory tables (ages 7 & under) OR a plexiglass painting station (ages 8+), a custom birthday banner to decorate for the birthday-kid, and a giant cardboard cake to paint before we dive into the main project you select from the menu below!

    Note: Tinker Time Art & Play Parties and Canvas Painting parties do not include any pre-project party stations as described above.

    • Art play stations, themed art project, an inspiring studio space, and guidance for each child to create an amazing work of art over the course of a 1 hour art party!

    • Up to 30 minutes for cupcakes and/or snacks in our party room or on our outdoor patio.

    • Our entire studio is reserved for you during your party slot.

    • You may access the studio 5-10 minutes before your party to set up, and 5-10 minutes after your party to load out anything you brought in. We are unable to accommodate any additional time outside of 10 minutes (max) before and after, as we have a full party schedule.

    • We take care of all the cleanup!

    • Any food, drinks, cupcakes or cake that you’d like.

    • Paper plates, utensils, cups, napkins and any other dinnerware needed for your cake/snack time.

  • TINKER ART STUDIO PARTIES: $375* (minimum charge) per party with up to 12 participants, +$29 per additional guest up to 20. No-show guests will be charged at $5 per guest.

    CLAY HUB POTTERY PARTIES: $525* per party with up to 14 participants.

    DEPOSIT: $100.00 (+tax) deposit. In the event of a cancellation, and your party slot fills, the deposit is refundable minus a $25 processing fee. The deposit is nonrefundable in the event of a cancellation and we cannot fill your party slot.

    Your deposit is applied towards your balance.

    *15% gratuity, for your party teaching team, is added to your party total, and your card on file is charged the Tuesday following your party.

    🏺 Clay Hub Wheel Throwing Events Discover the ancient, meditative art of pottery on the wheel! Learn to center clay and shape it into functional pieces under the guidance of our skilled instructors. Your handmade creations will be professionally finished and ready to treasure for years to come (pickup in 2-3 weeks).

  • PAINTING EVENT AT TINKER ART STUDIO:

    • $490 for up to 10 participants (includes all materials)

    • $49 per additional guest, up to 20 people maximum

    • *15% gratuity is added for your party teaching team

    • Example: 10 guests = $563.50 total

    POTTERY EVENT AT CLAY HUB:

    • $650 for up to 10 participants (minimum charge)

    • Additional participants: $65 each (up to 14 maximum)

    • *15% gratuity is added for your party teaching team

    • Example: $747.50 total price for a party of 10
