Themed art Camps for Children & Teens

Ages: 5-12

This summer, we’ll be popping up in the art studio at Coal Creek Elementary to bring our magical camps a little farther east! Join us for ½ or full days, enjoy outdoor breaks on the playground, and easy drop off and pick up. With low ratios and our awesome team, we can’t wait to see you in Louisville this summer!

Ages: 3.5–5

Come play at Tinker! During this fun 2-hour camp for our youngest Tinkerers, we explore sensory materials, create, paint, and play the morning away! Make & Play is 1 part art and 1 part play for the perfect week of summer camp.

Ages: 6-10

📣 Calling all Pokemon Trainers! Design original Pokemon, build immersive habitats, create custom Poké Balls, and gear up with trainer accessories. Through sculpting, painting, and storytelling, bring your Pokemon world to life. Gotta catch 'em all!

Ages: 7-12

For kids who already crochet and want to level up! Spend the week with fellow fiber artists, exploring patterns at various skill levels and choosing projects that excite you. Plus, learn to go rogue and design your OWN patterns! Advanced-beginner to intermediate level required.

Ages: 8–12 & Teens

Experience the magic of the pottery wheel at Clay Hub! 🌀 Learn the basics of wheel throwing or build on existing skills while creating unique ceramic pieces. As each camper works on their own pottery wheel—beginners and returning potters are welcome!

Ages: 5–9

Make & Match is back by popular demand! 🧵 Choose your very own 18" doll (yours to keep!) and spend the week making matching t-shirts, headbands, jewelry, and fun accessories for you and your new friend. This camp is packed with creativity, cuteness, and so much joy—we can’t wait!

Can't decide between kitty, hedgehog, octopus, or even a DRAGON? Adopt your favorite pet (stuffy) from our shelter full of common and magical creatures, then spend the week crafting everything they need—a custom carrier, bandana or cape, treat jar, and more. Perfect for kids who love animals from fuzzy to fire-breathing!

Ages: 5-9

A week filled with mythical creatures, creative builds, and fantasy-inspired art! Sculpt clay dragons with life-like wings, create glowing dragon eyes, and design a sparkling dragon egg. Perfect for kids who love dragons and magical worlds—you won't want to miss this epic week! 🐉

Ages: 13-17

Build skills, explore techniques, and grow your artistic voice in a supportive community of teen artists. 🎨 Work with materials like charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and acrylic while learning shading, proportion, composition, and more. All levels welcome!

Ages 5-9

🩺 Calling all future vets! Care for your very own stuffy puppy patient by creating a vet kit complete with bandages, patient charts, recovery beds, healing collars, and even a real plaster cast you can take on and off. This sweet week combines imaginative play with art making—take home your puppy and all the supplies to keep them happy!

Ages: 4.5-7

Hey dino fans—this one’s for you! 🦖 We’ll stomp back to the Mesozoic Era to make wearable dino feet, erupting volcanoes, fossils, dino eggs, and more. Get ready for a week full of creativity, pretend play, and prehistoric fun!

Ages: 8-12

Learn the art of jewelry making and create stunning wearable pieces all week long! 💎 We’ll craft clay pendants and dishes, bead bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, and even try metal stamping for one-of-a-kind designs.

Ages: 6-10

Design and construct tiny, detailed environments inside unexpected containers—a paper mache egg with a secret scene, a hanging globe, and a diorama with miniature furnishings. Create enchanted forests, underwater worlds, cozy nooks, or any tiny universe you can dream up! Perfect for patient builders and detail-loving artists.

Ages: 7-11

Love drawing but not always sure where to start? Explore helpful methods like grid drawing and light box techniques, plus plug-and-play tricks for characters and animals. Build a personal toolbox of skills, try new approaches, and leave feeling more confident and excited to keep drawing!

Ages: 5-12

Make it a full day and extend your child’s creative experience by registering for both a morning and afternoon camp, plus our Lunchtime Artists Club. You’ll enjoy a smooth schedule with drop-off at 9:00am and pick-up at 4:00pm. Full days are best suited for motivated artists who will enjoy a full day immersed in creative exploration.
