All levels welcome. If you’ve taken at least a couple of pottery classes, and you feel comfortable working independently, Clay Hub is for you!

FAQs

  • We bisque to cone 06 and glaze fire to cone 6.

  • Access to the Membership Studio is available from 5am - 11pm daily. You’ll reserve your space via our super easy reservation app. Members may reserve up to 20 hours of studio time per week.

  • Memberships are on a recurring 3 month term. You may cancel with a minimum of 30 days notice, at the end of your current 3 month term.

  • You may select a monthly recurring charge of $260/month or pay for the 3-month term up front.

  • Your membership starts the day you attend your Member Orientation. All new members are required to attend an in-person Member Orientation prior to gaining access to the studio.

  • Yes! You may pause your membership for up to 2 months per year (1 month every 2-terms, or every 6-months). The details are spelled out in our Membership Handbook which we’ll share with you before becoming a member.

  • We provide clay to members on a take-what-you-need basis. Sometimes that’s 10lb a month sometimes 25lb, and sometimes it’s 50lb! We ask that members stick to a general max of 50lb-ish per month, and any prospective members should note that we are a community pottery studio of hobbyists, and are not a good fit for production potters.

  • With approval, you are welcome to purchase a specific clay body to work with.

  • Clay Hub is a community ceramics studio, and is not a good fit for professional or production potters.
